Meet Hannah Anderson

INTROVERTED EXTROVERT, LIVES BY CORE VALUES, FAMILY ORIENTATED, DREAMER.

HI! i’m Hannah, your overly passionate, down to earth, genuinely loving photographer based out of ladysmith.

As a mom of three boys 8 and under, now more than ever do i understand the importance of documenting life’s most undeniably precious chapters. The art of photography has always been in the palm of my hands ever since i was a little girl. Constantly taking disposable cameras and taking snap shots of my simple every day life. My mom has containers full of developed prints under her bed that i wont let her get rid of. My entire childhood persevered on print under my moms bed.. how irreplaceable is that?! This has always been something that i have been in love with, the fact that we can preserve a moment for a lifetime with one click. Its not something i take lightly or for granted.

I really started to dabble in the photography world 11 years ago when i purchased my first DLSR camera. Then that was it for me i never really stopped. Always seeking people to photograph, naturally i gravitated towards moms and their babies. Maybe because it was always my dream to become a mother and before i had children of my own i loved to admire the connection between my friends and their babies. So documenting it just came very easily for me. Since becoming a mother it has only heightened the love and passion that was already developing. So here i am today, ready to capture the irreplaceable moments so that you don’t ever have to forget the details.

A FEW FUN FACTS ABOUT ME i never wear matching socks, never have, dont think i ever will… its not on purpose.. its a real life struggle for me to keep a pair of socks.. one time in the laundry and poof GONE! never to be matched again.. so if i show up to your in home session with mix matching socks just know that for the people that know me this is my signature fashion statement so i wont be offended if you look at me weird lol!.

I am a true lover of chocolate, its a really bad habit.. or addiction.. what ever you wona call it, but i cant really go a day without at least a nibble.

England- Liverpool was my home city for the first 13 years of my life. We moved to Vancouver island in 2004 and never looked back. Although moving across the world at the age of 13 was one of the hardest things to date i have ever had to do. Was it worth it ? 100000000% i am grateful every single day that i get to call this stunning island my home. And yes i did have an accent.. no its no longer around… yes some words still come out sounding funny.. like a cross between British and Canadian.
